Report on Newtown Shootings Finally Coming

Parents of the victims the opportunity to read an overview of the  investigation of the Sandy Hook into the shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School. The parents said that the report held no surprises, since they have been kept up to date by detectives since the tragedy. On Monday, November 25, they will be released to the general public.  State Attorney Stephan Sendensky III said that this report will  not include the entire evidence file, which consisted of 100s of pages.

The report has been promised for many months, but the release date continued to be delayed. Governor Malloy, among others, have been pressuring Sedensky to release the information, since it has nearly been a year since the event.

Newtown Superintendent John Reed has warned parents that they should find ways to limit their children’s exposure to media on Monday.  In the meantime, Town Selectman, Pat Llodra is asking that the 911 calls also be released, since the media leaks have been like “torture.”
